Frequently Asked Questions
What is the timeline of the Wedding Day?
This information can be found on the website here.
When does the Reception end?
Reception ends at 11PM. There will be an after party at one of the private houses.
What is the timeline of rehearsal & rehearsal dinner?
A separate email will be sent to those attending the rehearsal and rehearsal dinner.
Where do I send my vaccine card and negative test?
Reminder, we are requiring proof of vaccination and a negative test within a 72 hour window prior to the Welcome Party. A separate email will be sent with these directions 1 week prior to the wedding.
What should I wear?
For the welcome party you should dress warmly and be comfortable! No need to dress up! The wedding is cocktail attire. Dark suits, dresses, jumpsuits are perfect. The groomsmen are wearing tuxedos, so when in doubt go with the fancier option :) No jeans. There are no dress specifications for Sunday.
Is there anywhere to get food or alcohol in Grafton?
Yes, the Grafton Village Store Market has general groceries, prepared hot and cold foods like sandwiches and salads, and a great selection of local cheeses. You can also buy beer and wine, but if you want any spirits or liquor you will need to drive to Chester (about a 12 min drive).
Can I Uber?
No. There are no Ubers or taxis available.
Will I need to drive?
If you are staying at the Inn or in the town center of Grafton, you will only need to drive to the Welcome Party. It is less than 3 minutes drive down one straight road. It is about a half a mile, so theoretically you can walk, but there is no sidewalk. The ceremony, dinner and reception are all within walking distance.
Will there be cell phone service?
Sort of. AT&T has full service in town. But if you have another carrier you will have to mostly rely on the Inn’s wifi.
What is the layout of the Inn? Where are Ale and Leah staying?
The Inn is made of several buildings sprinkled through the town. There is the Main Inn, where reception is. Another building across the street with many rooms and then several houses which are accommodating our groups. We are staying in the White Gates House with some of the bridal party. This house is at the NW end of Main Street, by the white church.
Is there a bar in the hotel?
There is not a bar at the hotel where you can go down for a drink at any time. The bar is only open when the restaurant is open. We suggest BYOB! We will be stocking our house with provisions ;)
