Accommodations

The Grafton Inn has 45 rooms and will accommodate up to 90 of our guests. We ask that all guests please attempt to book this first, as we have the hotel bought out for the weekend.

All rooms are $229 plus tax. Please note, you cannot book online. If you try to book online it says sold out because all rooms are held for the wedding. Please call the front desk to book! (802) 843-2248.

If you are not able to find accommodations in Grafton, we recommend the town of Chester, which is only 8 miles away.

Travel

By Car: Most of our guests will be able to drive to Grafton. It is a little over 4 hour drive from NYC.

By Train: You can take the Vermonter Amtrak train from BWI, Philadelphia, and New York to Bellow Falls, VT. Bellow Falls is a 20 min drive from the Grafton Inn. We are researching what the taxi situation is from the Amtrak, please reach out to us if you are exploring this option.

By Air: For those who will need to fly, Hartford CT is the closest airport, about 2 hours from the Inn. Albany International Airport is also about 2 hours. For international travelers, your best bet may be a direct flight to Boston, which is a little over 2.5 hours from the Inn.

You may rent a car from the airport and drive, or you can schedule a shuttle with Thomas Transportation. They require reservations at lease 3 days ahead of time, but we recommend earlier as they do book up! Shuttles to and from Hartford airport are $180 each way for up to 3 people. Shuttles to and from Albany airport are $220 each way for up to 3. They also provide service from Boston and JFK, please call 603-352-5550 to book.

Local Transportation

There are no Ubers or taxis.

We encourage everyone to stay in the town of Grafton.

You can also call Thomas transportation to schedule transportation, but please note they require advance notice, as they are not a taxi service.

Weather

The weather in Grafton at this time of year is totally unpredictable. Last year we visited the Inn on October 23rd and it was in the high 60s. Then the very next weekend it snowed a foot! Check the weather and come prepared for chilly evenings.

Covid 19

We are monitoring the Delta variant and local guidelines carefully.

We will require our guests who have access to the vaccine to be fully vaccinated to attend. We value and respect the personal decision to be vaccinated and we know that this may mean that some of our friends and family will not be able to join.

Please be prepared to prove your vaccination status.

Depending on the severity of the situation in October, we may also ask guests to test before and/or on-site.
